1. "Hercules" (1997)
For their debut, Hercules decides to take on a popular 60s album and cover
the whole thing. Can you guess which one they did? Originally pressing in
small quantities, and destined to be officially released only in drastically
truncated form on the 20th anniversary box set, I'm sure. |

2. "The Hercules Christmas EP"
(1997)
A cherished favourite of fans of the "early days", this 6 song
EP with a heartwarming seasonal theme is Hercules' first to contain all
Baldwin/Sumner originals. It is also the first Hercules release to feature
outside musicians: brass, strings, vibraphone and vocalist Glyn Styler.
Served as a deluxe Christmas card that a few recipients received. |

3. "Hercules in the alleyway"
(1998/2000, released 2004)
Hercules' full length debut of original material, and the one they consider
the first album proper (sic). Contains seven fully orchestrated pop classics
and four stirring instrumentals; The ones that are not instrumental are
sung by Gordon Zacharias. Available now from march records.

4. "Jed at Fort Juniper" (2000,
currently undergoing surgery)
In the final stages of production, Hercules' latest opus is destined to
become a lauded and adored gem, or not. Ben and Peter think it is their
finest work yet, and believe it may make a nice second release. Keep your
eyes peeled, folks! |
